He underwent his chiropractic training at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and graduated in 2011. He is also Advanced Proficiency rated in Activator Methods®. Dr. Casey is a dedicated family man and has been married to his wife, Erica, since 2006. Together they have an energetic son named Liam.

What is Activator Methods®?

Dr. Casey uses Activator Methods®, one of the most popular "low force" chiropractic techniques in the world.

First, we evaluate how your spine moves by testing how well you turn and bend. While you are lying face down, Dr. Casey asks you to perform simple movements (much like playing Simon Says) and examines the length of your legs. These simple movements can result in profound leg length differences which shows Dr. Casey where, when, and when not to adjust.

What is the Activator?

The Activator Instrument is a hand-held, spring-loaded instrument that is able to deliver a gentle, specific, and repeatable force at just the right angle. The adjustment the Activator Instrument delivers is up to 300 times faster than the human hands. Since it is so fast the body rarely tightens to resist making adjustments more effective and comfortable for you, the patient. Using the Activator the doctor can adjust more than just the spine. For example, it is effective for the joints in the jaw, wrists, knees, and ankles.

Nutrition and Lifestyle Advice

Doctor, by definition, means teacher. Dr. Casey has a passion for knowledge and loves sharing it with others. The path to optimum health requires more than a few minutes in an office, and Dr. Casey finds it helpful to "coach" his patients on which items and activities they should avoid or do differently to acheive their health goals. Our goal at Hub City Chiropractic is for every person to lead a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle unhampered by health care concerns. We focus on the whole person, not just one particular condition. We will work with you to help you reach true health and wellness.

Corrective Exercises

The movement of your body may be governed by joints, but it is your muscles that do the moving. Dr. Casey during his evaluation and treatment of your condition will assess your muscles to determine areas of weakness or instability and provide an exercise regimen aimed specifically at those muscles. These exercises are typically far different than the ones you commonly see at the gym as they are aimed at the small muscles, not the big ones. Most exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home with little or no equipment necessary. These exercises are designed to keep your body in alignment longer and prevent re-injury.
